Description

You will own the engineering and migration of critical finance applications to cloud-native GCP solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and redesign critical Finance applications into cloud-native GCP solutions using Python.
• Develop data pipelines for streaming and batch processing using Composer, Dataflow, and GCS.
• Reverse-engineer and analyze existing on-premise applications using stored procedures and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design and implement scalable data models for the cloud environment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to manage smooth deployment and testing workflows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years as a Software Engineer or Developer.
• 3+ years of hands-on coding experience with Python and Java.
• 3+ years working with SQL databases, including writing complex queries.
• 1+ year of experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP.
• 1+ year of experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience applying sound software engineering principles (e.g., OOP).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP tools such as BigQuery or CloudSQL.
• Experience with cloud migration projects or data architecture.
