Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting

Develop and execute complex queries in MongoDB, MySQL, and SQL to analyze and extract meaningful insights from datasets.

Create and maintain reporting solutions that support business needs, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights through dashboards or reports.

Support ad-hoc analysis by providing timely and efficient query solutions to business teams.

Leverage AWS services, such as RDS and S3, to support data integration and reporting workflows.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure smooth operations.

Data Quality and Security

Maintain data security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Proactively identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Implement data validation and cleaning processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Jira and Workflow Management

Track and manage tasks and issues using Jira, ensuring all data-related requests and projects are completed efficiently.

Document and maintain workflows in Jira, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and team members.

Collaboration and Documentation

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

Create and maintain documentation for data processes, queries, and reporting workflows.

  Qualifications:

Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a focus on data analysis and reporting.

Strong proficiency in MongoDB, MySQL, and SQL for query design and optimization.

Hands-on experience with AWS RDS and related AWS services.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights.

Reporting Skills: Experience creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualization tools.

Tools: Proficiency with Jira for task and workflow management.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings effectively to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Python or similar programming languages for advanced data manipulation.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and task tracking tools.

Familiarity with reporting tools.

Nice to have: Experience in clinical research data management or working with healthcare datasets.

Nice to have: Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies to enhance data analysis, automate workflows, or optimize reporting processes
