Description

You will design and implement data ingestion pipelines and workflows on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical solutions through code development and tool configuration.
• Query databases using SQL to extract data for analysis and troubleshoot defects.
• Execute testing plans, including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Conduct reviews of solution designs, configurations, and code.
• Adhere to security standards for handling, processing, and storing sensitive data.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Google Pub/Sub for messaging and streaming.
• BigQuery and Google Dataform for data warehousing and transformation.
• Experience with data ingestion to BigQuery.
• Google Cloud Storage for data lake management.
• Cloud Composer for orchestrating workflows.
• SQL for database queries and analysis.
• GitHub for version control.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Data Fusion for data integration.
• DBMS connectivity with SQL Server, DB2, or Oracle.
• Experience calling RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
