Description

You will build and manage data pipelines within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from diverse sources into BigQuery and GCP environments.
• Query and analyze large datasets using Hive and Spark on Hadoop HDFS.
• Translate technical requirements into functional data workflows.
• Manage Unix systems to host and optimize enterprise web applications.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of industry work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery and GCP technologies.
• Experience with Hive and Hadoop HDFS.
• Strong Python skills including object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience managing Unix systems.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certifications.
• Experience with Google Cloud migrations.
• Background in the payments industry.
