Description

You will own the performance tuning and infrastructure management of the Pentaho ETL Server within an Agile product team.

Responsibilities

• Tune Pentaho ETL Server performance, focusing on heap, memory, and CPU optimization.
• Manage server upgrades and implement infrastructure changes with a high-quality mindset.
• Configure and manage the Cronitor scheduler and cron job monitoring tools.
• Optimize resource allocation based on defined constraints and utilize Lightweight Process (LWP).
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to provide solutions based on engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on server-side and SRE experience.
• Recent professional experience with Pentaho and ETL processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with BigQuery and Cassandra.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with a flexible schedule for global team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data tools and cloud environments such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Familiarity with SQL, GitHub, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Background in product-oriented engineering or developing B2B eCommerce systems.
