Description

You will design, build, and maintain data warehousing systems and migration pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop data warehousing systems and create data mappings from scratch.
• Execute secure data migrations using AWS DMS and streaming services.
• Analyze client data needs to determine optimal architecture and options.
• Troubleshoot system downtime and resolve issues to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with database managers and IT specialists to maintain data storage and retrieval.

Required Skills

• 7 to 10 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with Snowflake, including security, roles, encryption, masking, replication, and Snowpipe streaming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: DMS, MSK, Kinesis Firehose, and general AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and Apache Airflow orchestration.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Thorough knowledge of computer programming, coding, and database systems.

Preferred Skills

• ANY GRADUATE degree.
