Description

Optimize legacy ETL pipelines and evaluate migration strategies to open-source tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance of current ETL pipelines built with legacy Talend.
• Identify optimization areas to improve processing speed and efficiency.
• Assess feasibility of transitioning to different open-source ETL tools.
• Ensure compatibility with MySQL data warehousing and Qlik Sense for BI reporting.
• Document findings and provide technical recommendations.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Extensive experience with Talend, specifically legacy versions.
• Strong experience with MySQL data warehousing.
• Proficiency with open-source ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Qlik Sense for BI reporting.
• Ability to analyze and optimize ETL pipelines for performance.
• Experience migrating from legacy ETL systems to new tools.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache NiFi or Apache Hop.
• Knowledge of cloud-based ETL solutions.
