Description

You will manage data engineering workflows and operations within a GCP environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage GCP data services including Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer.
• Handle Day 2 operations, triaging, and SRE-focused tasks using Service Now.
• Implement and maintain monitoring stacks using Cloud Logging, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Configure IAM permissions, service accounts, roles, and workload identity.
• Work with messaging and compute services like Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and GKE.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience managing GKE and Cloud Functions.
• Knowledge of IAM, Service Accounts, Roles, and Workload Identity.
• Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud Logging.
• Understanding of SRE concepts and operational triaging.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of clinical data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
