Description

You will design and implement data integration patterns and maintain legacy COBOL codebases within a data warehousing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration patterns using ETL tools and shell scripting.
• Develop and debug complex SQL queries against relational databases.
• Ensure the functionality and execution of existing COBOL codebases.
• Apply domain-based design and data modeling principles to data structures.
• Contribute to projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics.
• 7+ years working with Relational Databases, preferably Oracle.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and debugging complex queries.
• 5+ years experience with ETL tools (Informatica or equivalent) and data movement patterns via shell scripts.
• 5+ years experience scripting in Shell (K-Shell, Bash).
• 5+ years working on Linux or AIX environments.
• Ability to understand and compile COBOL and Pro*C code.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data structures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, AWS, Azure, or Airflow.
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools or Apache Tomcat.
