Description

You will own data pipeline and warehousing operations across Teradata and AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Teradata queries using indexing, partitioning, and workload management.
• Implement and maintain ETL processes within Teradata and AWS ecosystems.
• Manage large-scale data storage and retrieval using AWS S3, EFS, and Glacier.
• Automate data tasks and workflows using Python and Shell scripting.
• Configure AWS networking components including VPC, subnets, security groups, and NACLs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• In-depth knowledge of Teradata architecture (AMP, Nodes, Parsing Engines).
• Proficiency in Teradata SQL and utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation.
• Strong SQL skills for managing relational databases.
• Experience with Python and Shell scripting for automation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, including star/snowflake schemas and OLAP.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
