Description

You will design and develop ETL pipelines across the full systems development life cycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes to move data from source feeds (files, x12) to target systems (SQL Server, Snowflake).
• Collaborate with data architects to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Work with business analysts to define reporting requirements and technical specifications.
• Provide post-implementation support and act as a technical resource for data administrators.
• Ensure all data processes comply with HIPAA, privacy, and government security policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
• 2+ years of experience with Databricks, preferably within Azure Cloud.
• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure.
• Experience with SDLC processes and DevOps.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements from cross-functional teams.
• Strong background in ETL, data analysis, and data movement.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server and Snowflake in Azure Cloud.
• Experience handling structured and semi-structured data, including x12 formats.
• Knowledge of Azure administration including ADLS2, Event Hubs, and Change Data Capture (JSON).
