Description

You will build and maintain scalable data infrastructure, ETL pipelines, and internal tools to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data warehouse systems using DataStage and Snowflake.
• Build and maintain public APIs and internal tools to support analytics and monitoring platforms.
• Provision, configure, and monitor cloud-based server resources and production systems for uptime and scalability.
• Implement automation and configuration strategies using tools like Ansible or Puppet to increase service reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and DBAs to define data strategies and integrate big data technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software or systems development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one language: PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Elixir, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with DataStage for ETL development.
• Experience with modern data stack tools, specifically dbt and Snowflake.
• Strong background in Linux administration and IT security best practices.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of computer networks, subnets, and large-scale system administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Background in defining deployment strategies for client-facing and internal tool systems.
