Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions leveraging MongoDB.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage MongoDB database architectures, including schema design, indexing, replication, and shard optimization.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform structured and unstructured data into MongoDB and other platforms.
• Optimize MongoDB queries and aggregation pipelines to ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security through validation, monitoring, and access controls.
• Integrate MongoDB with other systems and cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure) while supporting data-driven applications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• In-depth expertise with MongoDB, including document modeling, aggregation framework, and administration.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proven ability to design scalable data models for NoSQL databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data system troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing ETL/ELT processes.
