Description

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to transform Accident and Health reporting and business decision processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support data pipelines producing assets for Underwriting, Claims, and Actuarial workstreams.
• Handle data curation, parsing, cleaning, transformation, and enrichment while testing for quality.
• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions, architecture, and business performance dashboards.
• Build applications using SQL and Python to manipulate data and monitor data quality.
• Document end-to-end pipeline processes and data assets for information management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Mandatory experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Mandatory experience within the Stop Loss Insurance domain.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data querying, analysis, and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, Java, R, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong understanding of ETL methodologies, data lineage, and data processing fundamentals.
• Experience implementing projects following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and distributed cluster-computing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
