Description

Lead production support and digital operations for Azure-based data platforms, ensuring system stability and SLA adherence.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure Data Engineering solutions using ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management processes, including RCA and issue resolution.
• Establish data quality, governance, and metadata management frameworks to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage escalations, service reviews, and platform enhancements.
• Lead automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and production support.
• Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and Azure SQL.
• Expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and Spark.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident and change management.
• Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and client escalations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools for monitoring and operational governance.
• Background in digital operations for large-scale data platforms.
