Data Engineer with Quantexa

You will build and maintain data processing systems using Quantexa and distributed computing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Implement critical features and complex technical solutions using clean, maintainable, and fault-tolerant code.
• Design scalable solutions for accessing and processing massive datasets.
• Contribute to the implementation of efficient data processing pipelines.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on software development best practices.
• Address scalability issues and handle ad-hoc technical tasks as required.

Required Skills

• Quantexa certification or direct experience working with Quantexa.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Scala and Spark.
• Experience with Hadoop and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Trino and JSON.
• Knowledge of file formats including Hive and Parquet.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and patterns in AWS or Google Cloud.
• Ability to influence or drive data strategy within a team or organization.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
