Description

You will design, implement, and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse within the Azure ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL pipelines using Databricks, Python, and Snow SQL to move data in and out of the warehouse.
• Build and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines using Snowflake features like Snow Pipe, Tasks, and Streams.
• Translate mapping specifications into data transformation designs and code following optimal execution standards.
• Write UNIX and Python scripts for data extraction, loading, transformation, and utility functions.
• Provide production support for data warehouse issues and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing production-grade large-scale data solutions on Microsoft Azure Snowflake.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake features: Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Stored Procedures.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Databricks for data processing.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data Modeling.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items in relation to Snowflake.
• Experience with UNIX scripting for data automation.
• Ability to design solutions in environments with unclear requirements.
