Support data extraction and architecture for a 6-12 month maternity leave contract in New York, NY.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from Hadoop databases to support internal teams.
• Execute coding tasks using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with teams to facilitate data access and movement.
• Follow documented knowledge transfer processes to ensure continuity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python (8/10 level).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (8/10 level).
• Working knowledge of R.
• Experience working with Hadoop.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Alteryx.
• Exposure to AWS.
• Experience in financial services.
