Description

Own the design, build, and hands-on development of large-scale data assets supporting AML monitoring and surveillance. Manage end-to-end ETL pipelines using Teradata, Hadoop, and Informatica within a hybrid Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Teradata 16.x, Informatica 10.x, and UNIX shell scripting.
• Execute SQL performance tuning, data migrations, and conversions for complex data models.
• Build scalable data solutions using Cloudera CDP, Hadoop (Hive, Impala), PySpark, and Scala.
• Coordinate development in distributed environments, ensuring adherence to SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD practices.
• Engage business stakeholders to discover requirements and validate data assets for Anti-Money Laundering domains.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Teradata 16.x, including SQL/BTEQ scripting and TPT.
• Strong proficiency in Informatica 10.x and ETL design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem: Cloudera CDP, Hive, Impala, PySpark, and Scala.
• Expertise in UNIX Shell scripting and job scheduling with Autosys.
• Proven ability in SQL performance tuning and database-intensive development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Background in financial domains, specifically Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Financial Crimes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data sourcing, modeling, and provisioning for surveillance assets.
• Strong business communication skills for requirement discovery and stakeholder engagement.
