Description

You will design, build, and manage data warehouses using WhereScape RED and Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement dimensional models for analytics and reporting.
• Build and optimize data pipelines to ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Develop and extend automation processes using WhereScape scripting language (WSL).
• Implement data quality checks and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity.
• Tune SQL queries and virtual warehouses for large-scale data processing performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or development.
• Proficiency in WhereScape RED for data warehouse automation.
• Expertise in Snowflake cloud data platform, including data loading and transformation.
• Advanced Snowflake SQL skills for data manipulation and optimization.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience with WhereScape scripting language (WSL).
• Knowledge of Snowflake features including data sharing and governance capabilities.
• Experience with data integration techniques for diverse source ingestion.
• Ability to optimize pipelines for scalability and performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
