Description

Manage data wrangling, modeling, and analytical processes to support downstream applications and visualizations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Transform, normalize, and map structured and unstructured data for analytics and applications.
• Design, model, validate, and deploy analytical products and statistical methods.
• Query and join multiple tables in SQL databases to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Perform end-to-end data validation to ensure quality solution delivery.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for technology solutions.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of total data experience.
• 8+ years writing complex SQL queries and performing query optimization.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python or R.
• 3+ years of experience in a trade-related technology position at a financial institution.
• Proficiency with ETL tools including Informatica and Alteryx.
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Agile methodologies.
• Experience developing data models for financial services firms.
