Description

You will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure data pipelines using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Develop data models and monitoring dashboards to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Automate workflows using Python, Spark, and Airflow.
• Lead security initiatives, including architecture, access control, and lineage tracking.
• Mentor junior engineers and define the strategic roadmap for cloud transition.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering with leadership experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with SQL and Java.
• Expertise in Python and advanced scripting.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Services and data pipeline construction.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex data issues.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s Degree and Google Cloud certification.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Beam and Airflow.
• Background in designing complex data models and performance optimization.
