KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 I have mentioned the "Lead Data Engineer".

 I would prefer someone in the "Lead Data Engineer III" position, who is close to being promoted

to an Architect.

 Lead Data Engineer to own the day-to-day delivery on the KPI Partners account.

 The platform (Snowflake + Matillion on AWS, Power BI reporting) is mature and stable, so this

suits someone at Lead Data Engineer III level who's ready to step up toward a Solution Architect

role in a lower-pressure setting, with active Snowflake AI work to grow into.

 Hands-on technical lead for Snowflake data warehouse and reporting.

 Owns modeling and development on Snowflake, runs the 2-week sprint cadence for a small

mixed KPI + client-side team, and works directly with client stakeholders on requirements,

priorities, and status.

 Snowflake, strong / lead level - data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, dimensions, facts, SCD2,

aggregates), performance and cost optimization (warehouse sizing, query tuning), role-based

security.

 Strong SQL - complex analytical queries, window functions, tuning.

 ETL/ELT pipeline design - staging/dimension/fact loads, error handling, restartability (Matillion

preferred; ODI/dbt/Informatica acceptable).

 Dimensional data warehousing fundamentals.

 Team lead experience - running Agile sprints for a small, mixed onshore/client team.

 Client-facing communication - can hold requirement and status conversations directly with the

client.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

 Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering Lead or a closely related field.

 Strong proficiency in Snowflake.

 Strong proficiency in Power BI.

 Strong proficiency in ETL.

 Strong proficiency in SQL.

 Excellent communication skills and ability to work across time zones.

 Experience working in agile/scrum delivery environments.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent

experience).
