Lead enterprise data strategy, platform engineering, and team development for scalable cloud-native data architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise data engineering roadmap, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity and compliance standards.
• Design and implement scalable data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures using cloud technologies.
• Build high-volume batch, streaming, and event-driven pipelines, establishing reusable frameworks and DataOps practices.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data Engineers and Architects, setting technical standards and overseeing delivery.
• Establish data governance, quality frameworks, and observability processes to ensure trust and reliability in data assets.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture with 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, or Scala for data processing and engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Demonstrated expertise with modern data technologies: Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Strong background in CI/CD and DataOps practices for platform automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
