Description

Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of scalable data architectures and engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while tracking progress to ensure timely completion.
• Lead and mentor data engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting professional development.
• Design and implement scalable, cost-effective data solutions on cloud platforms covering ingestion, storage, processing, and access layers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering environments.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and ETL processes.
• Experience working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS.
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystems.
• Proven ability to design dimensional data models, such as star and snowflake schemas.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
