Description

Lead a team of data engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines while ensuring technical excellence and delivery quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Data Engineers, overseeing planning, task prioritization, and execution quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions, tools, and features for large-scale environments.
• Mentor engineers, support their professional growth, and promote engineering best practices including code quality and testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Analytics teams to drive architectural decisions and technical leadership.
• Ensure high standards for reliability, monitoring, observability, and data quality across all systems and infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering within large data environments spanning multiple stakeholders and petabytes of data.
• 3+ years of experience as a people leader and team manager.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale data platforms.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Big Data technologies.
• Experience in production operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cloud-based data ecosystems, AI/ML data pipelines, and MLOps environments.
• Familiarity with Flink, Databricks, or dbt technologies.
• Experience in fast-paced product organizations.
