You will own the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and ETL processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry standards.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
• Mentor and lead the data engineering team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• Strong understanding of Data Architecture and ETL processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills to manage a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards.
