Description

You will architect and maintain a scalable AWS data lake using SAP S4HANA as the primary source system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, EMR, and Databricks workflows.
• Architect the AWS data lake to ensure data quality, security, and performance.
• Develop and optimize Python and SQL scripts for complex data extraction and transformation.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models for SAP S4HANA processes like OTC, RTR, and AP.
• Provide technical guidance and functional support to offshore development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or solution architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, EMR, and EC2.
• Experience managing Databricks workflows.
• Deep understanding of SAP S4HANA data structures and business processes (STS, OTC, RTR, AR, AP).
• Knowledge of customer accounts, vendor management, and general ledgers.
• Experience with GitHub for code development.
• Strong application of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Informatica EDC, Starburst, or Ranger.

Preferred Skills

• Informatica PowerCenter, DAC Scheduler, or OBIEE.
• Data visualization experience with Tableau, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot.
• Data preparation using Alteryx.
