Description

You will manage high-volume data capture and verification tasks with precision and speed.

Responsibilities

• Keypunch and verify records into specified formats, such as ASCII.
• Capture and mine data using automated equipment, electronic keyboards, and display screens.
• Operate scanning and imaging equipment, applying pan, skew, and image correction techniques.
• Maintain an error rate below 0.5% on a character basis.
• Meet production targets regarding completion time or minimum weekly keystroke counts.

Required Skills

• Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
• Experience with data mining and data capture efforts.
• Proficiency in using scanning and imaging equipment.
• Strong knowledge of arithmetic and numbering systems.
• Ability to accurately enter, access, and verify information on a computer screen.
• Experience transmitting electronic data via FTP.
• Ability to follow complex written and spoken instructions.
• Comprehensive PC skills.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience.
