Description

You will manage end-to-end data feed processes for the Medi-Cal Data Warehouse, ensuring accurate transmission from various sources into the MIS/DSS data warehouse.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Extract, cleanse, and prepare large-scale files for loading into the data warehouse.
• Analyze DHCS warehouse requirements and research claim processes to design effective data feeds.
• Execute full SDLC functions including project planning, requirements analysis, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Use SAS EG to generate reports, identify trends, and fulfill specific user requests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in front-end data warehouse processing, including large-scale data extraction and cleansing.
• 5+ years as an analyst-programmer managing the full system development life cycle.
• 5+ years in a mainframe environment with COBOL, VSAM file structures, JCL, and TSO.
• Proficiency with SAS EG for statistical reporting and trend analysis.
• Experience developing program specifications, pseudo code, or logic diagrams.
• Hands-on experience working with DHCS and MIS/DSS systems.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience working with Business Objects.
