Description

You will manage stakeholder relationships and align data governance work with business and technology needs. Partner with Data Office leaders to validate and implement Data Quality and Metadata Management strategies. Implement the enterprise operating model, defining roles and processes across the entire data lifecycle. Support technical platform owners by planning, implementing, and testing bug fixes, new features, and upgrades for data governance tools. Collaborate with Data Stewards, Data Privacy, Master Data Management, BI, and Data Science teams to ensure alignment. Maintain technical documentation and develop standards, best practices, and procedures for the organization. Design and organize training and communications to promote data governance best practices.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality.
• 5+ years of experience specifically within the financial services or insurance industry.
• Proven experience delivering global Data Governance and Master Data capabilities across multiple regions.
• Deep understanding of data quality and metadata management principles and procedures.
• Experience sustaining data governance policies and analyzing the impact of policy changes.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for data governance programs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for training and business engagement.

Preferred Skills

• Track record applying Data Scanning, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Data Dictionary capabilities to a global organization.
