Description

You will design and implement enterprise data governance policies, standards, and procedures. You will own the documentation lifecycle and drive training initiatives across technical and business teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and update existing enterprise data governance and management policies.
• Create new guiding principles, standards, procedures, and processes.
• Develop comprehensive program documentation for technical and business audiences.
• Build and deliver presentations and training regarding data policies and standards.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate governance with privacy and cyber security requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience creating enterprise data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• 3+ years of experience developing documentation for both technical and business audiences.
• 3+ years of experience supporting the creation and presentation of policy training.
• Proven experience working with enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security principles as they overlap with data governance.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in ambiguous environments.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills for varying audiences.
• Effective problem-solving and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data governance policy creation within a Higher Education environment.
