You will own the oversight and execution of data governance processes, ensuring accurate data use across applications, metrics, and reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate governance routines, meetings, and track detailed deliverables.
• Conduct technical analysis to validate data use requests and business requirements.
• Maintain data dictionaries, catalogues, lineage, and metadata within the metadata repository.
• Assess and manage data-related risks aligned with financial institution standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in roles requiring critical thinking and problem-solving.
• 5+ years in technical and analytical roles (non-development).
• 5+ years in data governance and/or metadata management.
• Proficiency in data management principles and managing Critical Data Elements.
• Experience with metadata management tools and enterprise data catalog solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain data lineage frameworks for traceability.
• Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance within financial institutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with internal audit and regulatory teams.
• Experience with JIRA for managing governance tasks in Agile environments.
