Description

You will synthesize insights from large datasets to support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer through advanced data analytics and governance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis and recommendations on big data management and emerging analytics technologies.
• Perform financial, budgetary, and operational data analytics using accounting and auditing concepts.
• Manage project resources, communications, costs, and risks to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Document and collect project financial, accounting, and audit-related information for regular reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, product/BI analytics, or business operations.
• Proficiency in SQL, OBIEE, R, Tableau, Python, or PowerBI.
• Experience with reporting and visualization platforms, specifically Tableau.
• Experience with scripting and programming for data mining and modeling using R or Python.
• Knowledge of industry-leading data quality and data protection management practices.
• Understanding of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Current DHS clearance.
• Previous experience in operations, support, or analytics roles within a similar environment.
