Description

You will design and lead enterprise-scale data governance, metadata management, and lineage architectures. You will establish security, governance, and Responsible AI standards across cloud platforms and BI ecosystems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise metadata, catalog, and lineage solutions using Microsoft Purview.
• Implement AI-enabled data discovery, including RAG, metadata-driven search, and automated classification.
• Establish enterprise security, governance, and Responsible AI standards.
• Lead architecture review boards and executive design discussions.
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures across Azure and AWS.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in enterprise data platform, solution, or data governance architecture.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Purview (metadata management, classification, lineage).
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), dbt, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of enterprise analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of AI-enabled data discovery solutions (RAG, contextual retrieval).
• Experience establishing enterprise security and governance standards.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Collections, Scan Rule Sets, and Atlas APIs.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries (HIPAA knowledge).
• Familiarity with data contracts, data access governance, and enterprise data-sharing patterns.
