You will shape and execute the enterprise data governance strategy, owning the architecture, policy enforcement, and tool implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-wide data governance strategies, standards, and policies aligned with regulatory compliance.
• Design scalable data governance architecture and evaluate tools like Microsoft Purview, Collibra, BigID, and Informatica.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Purview, configuring RBAC, metadata scanning, and classification rules.
• Architect metadata repositories and ingestion workflows to ensure end-to-end lineage across ADF, Synapse, and Power BI.
• Automate governance processes using PowerShell, Azure Functions, and REST APIs, integrating with Azure Monitor and Synapse Link.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data governance and management.
• Expertise in Microsoft Purview and Informatica.
• Hands-on proficiency with Azure Data Factory, REST APIs, and PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and policy enforcement.
• Experience defining and enforcing rules for data classification and access aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Proficiency in Governance Architecture principles.
• Experience leading end-to-end governance initiatives.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
