Description

You will lead the development and implementation of enterprise-level data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
• Define data quality standards, monitor key metrics, and resolve issues across platforms.
• Implement data lineage and metadata management solutions for traceability throughout the data lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and scientists to align technical implementation with business needs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
• Proven track record implementing data governance frameworks at an enterprise scale.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages including Python and Shell.
• Strong understanding of databases, data warehousing, and big data platforms like Hadoop and Spark.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration, and data modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of data quality, lineage, metadata management, and data security.
• Solid understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
