Description

Own data governance initiatives through analysis, policy definition, and technical specification. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage data governance policies, metadata, and business glossaries.
• Design and oversee data lineage and stewardship workflows.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for data platforms.
• Support change management activities related to data governance implementations.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years experience as a Data Governance or Management Business Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with metadata, glossary, and lineage concepts.
• Proficiency in basic scripting, specifically Python or SQL.
• Experience using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Familiarity with BI tools, specifically Tableau.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Proven stakeholder management and documentation skills.
