Description

You will establish an enterprise-grade Data Catalog and Governance Framework for Symphony data sources using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview.

Responsibilities

• Scan and onboard Symphony data sources into Microsoft Purview, curating assets with updated business definitions and glossary terms.
• Design and develop end-to-end data products using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse) while ensuring governance standards and domain ownership.
• Implement data models, semantic layers, and ontology structures to support relationship graphs and connected insights.
• Extend data quality frameworks by enabling profiling, publishing reports, and deploying AI agents for automated monitoring and issue detection.
• Enable end-to-end lineage across all sources and implement governance policies including classification, ownership, and access controls.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Governance and Data Cataloging.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Data Catalog.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, specifically OneLake, Lakehouse, and Warehouse.
• Proven experience in Data Quality (DQ) and Data Profiling.
• Experience working with ontology structures and building relationship graphs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

This role is on-site in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
