Description

You will own the implementation and maintenance of enterprise data governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Define and enforce data quality standards, monitoring key metrics and resolving data issues.
• Implement and maintain data lineage and metadata management solutions for data traceability.
• Ensure data governance practices comply with regulatory requirements and implement necessary security controls.
• Partner with technical and business teams to align data governance needs with business objectives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance concepts: quality, lineage, metadata, security.
• Experience with data governance tools, specifically Informatica, Collibra, or Alation.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python or Shell.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark).
• Solid knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• Proven ability to implement enterprise-level data governance frameworks.
• Experience with data pipeline and ETL processes.
