You will design and implement data security solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual security processes and create custom tooling to improve operational efficiency.
• Design and implement security solutions using GCP services to prevent data exfiltration and manage encryption.
• Advance security monitoring capabilities by moving from basic alerts to proactive threat detection.
• Write clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent security responses and enable audits.
• Analyze complex security issues to identify root causes and develop scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data security or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python or other high-level languages for security automation and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with GCP Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Experience with VPC Service Controls to prevent data exfiltration.
• Expertise in Cloud DLP for sensitive data classification.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud KMS for encryption key management and Secret Manager for credential protection.
• Experience using Security Command Center, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring for threat detection.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience presenting metrics that demonstrate productivity and efficiency gains from automation.
• Background working with major cloud service providers beyond GCP.
