You will own the definition and enforcement of data governance strategy within the organization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Data Governance roadmap aligned with organizational strategy.
• Design, implement, and enforce data governance frameworks and policies with data engineering and consumption teams.
• Drive metadata management initiatives to improve data discoverability, lineage, and impact analysis.
• Onboard and configure the Collibra Data Governance tool.
• Monitor data quality and drive continuous data quality improvement processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience implementing cross-functional data governance frameworks and policies.
• Proficiency with OLTP and OLAP platforms, specifically Snowflake and SQL Server.
• Experience designing and maintaining role-based access control (RBAC) on enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with MDM concepts and experience with Informatica MDM.
• Knowledge of data quality assessment, profiling, and cleansing techniques.
• Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
