Description

Lead the implementation and oversight of the organization's data governance strategy, focusing on frameworks, quality, and automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to define and optimize governance processes.
• Oversee metadata management, data cataloging, and end-to-end data lineage using Informatica IDMC.
• Define and implement data quality rules, metrics, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Identify and drive automation and AI/GenAI-based accelerators to improve governance efficiency.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data quality roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (metadata, data catalog, lineage).
• Solid understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
• Experience with data quality tools, metadata standards, and data stewardship practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid (onsite/offshore) team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
