Description

You will oversee the enterprise data governance framework to ensure adherence to technical and functional data practices, policies, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Enforce data practices and compliance with changing regulatory policies to minimize the risk of regulatory fines.
• Define roles and responsibilities for Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Users to ensure accountability for master data assets.
• Develop and maintain an inventory of enterprise data while streamlining external data sources to eliminate redundancy.
• Design and develop a Data Governance Roadmap and provide progress reports to senior IT, business, and operations leadership.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical functional areas to protect sensitive and confidential data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data governance or related roles.
• Expertise in implementing Data Protection and Data Quality standards across an enterprise.
• Proven ability to manage Data Owners and establish data stewardship accountability.
• Experience designing and implementing data quality indicators and performance metrics.
• Ability to align data sharing protocols between the enterprise and external clients, vendors, or partners.
• Strong capability in risk mitigation through monitoring enterprise performance against data goals.
• Experience coordinating data governance strategy implementation across multiple operational units.
