Description

You will lead data governance initiatives to ensure adherence to policies, standards, and procedures in support of business and data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build frameworks for data governance, data quality, and data stewardship efforts.
• Define governance solutions by working with process teams, systems integrators, and developers to identify requirements.
• Support metadata management processes and standards across all data domains to ensure integrity and standardization.
• Identify and solve data integrity and quality issues while establishing metrics for tracking critical data elements.
• Act as the solutions lead to identify opportunities for expansion, monitor project delivery, and escalate concerns.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in technology.
• Proven experience leading at least one recent data governance initiative.
• Hands-on experience implementing data governance platforms such as Atlan, Alation, or Informatica.
• Direct experience with Atlan implementation.
• Experience with metadata lineage tools, automated data security and control platforms, or data observability platforms.
• Experience interfacing with C-level, VP-level, and Director-level stakeholders.
• Strong domain experience in technology.
• Expertise in Data Quality and Data Stewardship efforts.
• Knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Workday, SAP S4, or Gainsight.
• Experience with Colibra or similar platforms.
