Description

You will define and enforce the enterprise data governance framework, policies, and operating model. Your work ensures data quality, compliance, and zero data-loss during migration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Align and implement the enterprise data governance framework and operating model.
• Lead metadata, lineage, classification, and cataloging using Collibra in line with organizational policies.
• Govern Kafka topics, schemas, retention periods, and ownership standards.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and zero data-loss during migration processes.
• Drive compliance for PII, IAM, audit, and security controls to maintain audit readiness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data governance or data engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for topic and schema governance.
• Proficiency with Collibra for metadata management, lineage, and cataloging.
• Experience with Databricks for data platform operations.
• Familiarity with Tibco for integration and governance workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of data quality rules, dashboards, and exception workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating governance into DataOps pipelines and platforms.
• Proven track record of leading data governance councils and stewardship programs.
