Description

You will lead the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance policies to oversee data quality and integrity.
• Create and maintain data lineage maps by analyzing data flows, dependencies, and transformations.
• Manage the data catalog using Alation, enriching metadata with business context to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct data profiling to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and assess data completeness.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to resolve integration challenges and optimize data processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data management and governance.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Alation for data catalog management.
• Experience using BigEye for data lineage.
• Proven expertise in data quality tools and profiling.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
