Lead data governance, management, and large-scale migration initiatives for complex data landscapes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end data migration programs including planning, execution, reconciliation, and post-migration validation.
• Implement data quality management through rule definition, monitoring, and remediation strategies.
• Manage metadata, data lineage, business glossaries, and master data management (MDM) concepts.
• Integrate Experian data solutions (profiling, matching, enrichment, validation) with enterprise platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and data protection regulations across business and technical teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data governance, data management, and large-scale data migration.
• Hands-on experience with Experian data solutions for quality, profiling, matching, and enrichment.
• Strong background in delivering complex data migration and transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, best practices, and operating models.
• Proficiency in cloud-based data platforms: Snowflake, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, and AWS.
• Experience integrating data tools with enterprise data platforms and analytics environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior working experience in the Australian public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Relevant certifications in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or Cloud Technologies.
