Description

Design, develop, and optimize high-performance Ab Initio ETL pipelines for critical logistics sortation operations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Ab Initio ETL graphs, utilizing components like Join, Dedup, Sort, Reformat, Rollup, Merge, Gather, and Filter by Expression.
• Lead technical research and own enhancement stories, driving them from design to successful closure.
• Perform root cause analysis, performance tuning, and debugging for production data issues and application defects.
• Partner with onsite stakeholders to lead daily technical alignment discussions and track project deliverables.
• Manage automated deployments and Jenkins-based promotion processes for release management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL tool expertise and parallelism concepts.
• 10+ years of core SQL query design, debugging, and data issue analysis.
• Deep understanding of Ab Initio graphs, plans, and advanced data modeling (SCD, join types, null keys).
• Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems commands and shell scripting.
• Experience with data architecture, performance tuning, and graph optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools like Jenkins.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
