Description

You will design and implement scalable data integration, transformation, and storage solutions across Azure and on-premise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize real-time and near-real-time data integration solutions for scale, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data objects, attributes, and relationships.
• Profile and analyze large datasets to identify trends, conclusions, and remediation plans for component issues.
• Develop high-quality code using Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, and data integration.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in Java (8 and above), Spring Boot, JPA, JDBC Template, and Ehcache.
• Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Experience with J2EE, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and JSON/XML frameworks.
• Experience with JUnit-based testing frameworks like Mockito and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Deep understanding of Spring Data (JDBC, ORM, JMS), Security, and Integration.
• Knowledge of Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP), HTTP, RESTful web services, and Linux.
• Experience with relational, NoSQL, hierarchical, and entity relationship data modeling.
• Mandatory experience with insurance products and the insurance industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• Active Azure DP-203 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) or equivalent Azure DP certifications.
